Spectacular Diminutive Size Cast Bronze Davenport Accent Floor Lamps Flying Dragons with Twisted Tails Newly Cleaned Restored Rewired

These are surprisingly small at just over 4' tall! Solid cast in bronze, including the shade. We suspect they were intended in a dark environment where mood and atmosphere took precedence over practical lighting. They seem perfectly sized to flank both sides of a sofa or davenport, perhaps in a dark club's smoking room where after dinner cigars and brandy are enjoyed. These have their original fatboy sockets with a pullchain on/off, refurbished when we rewired the lamps with a new cord and plug. Lamps have been cleaned and a new coat of protective lacquer added.   There is evidence that these once had decorative brackets at the bottom, as there are holes and evidence of solder joint on both bases.
