Pair of JC Virden Storybook Slip Shade Wall Sconces ca 1930 #2407

Lovely slip shade sconces from about 1930 made by the JC Virden company. Here with two different shade options (your choice) and a new paint finish in “old copper”.   This fixture had several shade options over the years—-frosted or amber glass, or clear glass with a paint finish to get the color, and two different patterns on the shade.     New on board switches just as they had in when new.    Open top lets light wash up the wall (not seen in our photos).   While these were made in the art deco Depression era, the handmade styling looks great in Storybook style Spanish Bungalow or Arts and Crafts home.
