Pair Heavy Cast Brass Two Light Sconces ca 1910 #2430

We removed these heavy solid cast brass sconces from a 1910 Los Angeles home.   At the time they were covered in paint but after lots of stripping, we revealed the solid brass base metal.    Polishing and lacquer will keep them looking for many years.   New sockets and candelabra base sockets, with new polybeeswax resin candleholders that loo like real wax.    Note that these have an open section that shows the wall through the sconce.     These were designed to hang on the wall with a screw rather than to a junction box.    The body will not cover a standard junction box so a creative hanging method will be required.   Please ask for details.
