Moe Bridges 1932 Norwich Series 5 Light **RARE** Storybook or Tudor #2204

1930s Norwich Slip Shade by Moe Bridges

Moe Bridges 1932 Norwich Series 5 Light **RARE** Storybook or Tudor #2204

Regular price $1,899.00

A very rare find!    Moe Bridges Company of Milwaukee made this amazing chandelier and pictured it in their 1932 catalog.  Surviving examples of this light are rare likely due to the tendency for the shades to not be installed properly, so we're thrilled to have this example.    Sconces too!!     Finished in copper plate over cast iron and has a nice Tudor rose design.  Perfect for those small brick and half-timbered storybook tudor houses so popular in the 20s and 30s.   This is one of the few shades of the slip shade genre that can be installed for either soft uplight or direct downlight.

Note one shade has a couple chips on corners and one edge, and another has a small chip and small stable crack.

30" tall and 18" wide. Up to 12" can be removed to shorten.

Must ship in two boxes to protect glass.  Shipping quote likely not accurate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: HOW CAN I CONTACT YOU?

A:  We prefer contact via email, but if you'd like to call here's our number:  206 819 6042

Q: YOU ARE LISTED IN BOTH LOS ANGELES AND SEATTLE?

A:  We started in Seattle but are now primarily based in Los Angeles.    Items ship from both locations, depending on were it's on display.

Q: DO YOU BUY PARTIAL FIXTURES AND PARTS, OR JUST COMPLETE FIXTURES?

A: Of course we'll take a look at anything you are looking at selling, whether single shades or complete fixtures.  You might have the last piece to a puzzle we need!  It's rare that we're interested in items made after WWII.

Q: DO YOU RESTORE CLIENT'S FIXTURES?  WHAT ABOUT REPAIR?

A:  Yes.  Restoration means different things depending on what each project needs.  Sometimes it's cleaning and rewiring, other times (too often) it's refinishing completely.  Yes, we can repair most things, from a simple rewiring a modern lamp to a plate and polish an antique chandelier.   Cost varies depending on scope of project.
