1940s Kitchen or Bath Light with Porcelain Fitter #2340

Sleek lines on this 1940s kitchen or bath light on porcelain fitter.    Clear bottom allowed more light to pass downward while the white sides soften and diffuse the light there.    The fitter once had a pull chain on/off, hence the hole in the side of the fixture.
